Setup guide
Two minutes. Every step can be undone; switch the chat view off and your tool looks exactly as before.
Install the extension
Add AI Coworker to Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc. Its ✦ icon appears in the toolbar (pin it so it stays visible).
Create your free account
The extension opens the sign-up page on first install. Enter your email; the extension picks up your key by itself and shows "Connected". No password.
Open your board
Go to a Basecamp card table. Click Chat view (bottom right). Your columns become folders and your cards become chats. Top left switches between Card Table and Chat (the project chat and direct messages).
Ask the AI coworker
In any card or chat, click ✦ AI next to the message box: draft a reply, summarise, list the action items, or ask anything. The answer appears for you to check; nothing is posted until you send it. From a list of action items, one click creates them as cards.
Speak instead of typing
Click 🎤, talk, click again. The words are typed into the message. Right-click 🎤 to change the language. The browser asks once to allow the microphone.
Use it on any page
Click the ✦ toolbar icon to open the side panel on any website: ask about the page, explain its console errors, or right-click a link, a selection or a YouTube video and choose Send to a task.
Connect your code host (optional)
In the extension's settings, under Connections, paste an access token: GitHub (fine-grained token, read access to the repositories you choose), GitLab (token with read_api, read_repository) or Gitea/Forgejo/Codeberg (Settings → Applications → token with repository read). The token is stored encrypted on our server and only used for your account. Remove it any time.

The free plan includes 3 AI messages. Pro is $5 a month: see Pro. Paste your license key in the extension's settings under Plan.
